Join us for a special June Chamber Luncheon as we welcome the 2026 Monticello Royal Ambassador Candidates and recognize the businesses and organizations helping make this incredible program possible!

This annual tradition provides Chamber members and community leaders an opportunity to meet the candidates, learn more about the Royal Ambassador Program, and celebrate these outstanding young women as they embark on a journey of leadership, community service, personal growth, and ambassador experiences throughout the coming year.

We are grateful for our candidate sponsors whose support helps create meaningful opportunities and lifelong memories:

Treasure Chest Drawing — Must Be Present to Win!

Royal Ambassador Industry Tours

Immediately following the luncheon, the Royal Ambassador Candidates and Royalty will participate in educational business and industry tours designed to provide a behind-the-scenes look at the businesses that help make Monticello a vibrant and thriving community.

SERVPRO of Wright County

The first stop will be SERVPRO of Wright County, where candidates will learn about the critical restoration and emergency response services provided to our community 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

From fire and water damage restoration to storm recovery, mold remediation, cleaning services, and disaster response, SERVPRO plays a vital role in helping families and businesses recover when the unexpected happens. Candidates will gain insight into the specialized equipment, training, and dedication required to serve the community around the clock.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the SERVPRO team for sharing their expertise and helping educate the future leaders of our community.

Ausco Design & Marketing & Rally Gear

The second stop will feature two businesses that work together to transform ideas into finished products: Ausco Design & Marketing and Rally Gear.

Many students and community members have worn apparel produced by these businesses without ever seeing the creativity, technology, and craftsmanship behind the scenes. Candidates will learn how artwork and branding concepts are developed, then brought to life through apparel decoration, promotional products, drinkware, and custom marketing materials.

This tour will showcase the many career opportunities available in graphic design, marketing, production, printing, and entrepreneurship while highlighting the innovation and talent found right here in Monticello.

A special thank you to Ausco Design & Marketing and Rally Gear for opening their doors and inspiring the next generation of community leaders.

We hope you will join us in celebrating these remarkable candidates, their sponsors, and the businesses that invest in the future of our community.

Dec 15    2026 Chamber Lunch~ December 15th ~ Monticello School District Updates with Sarah Welk - Sponsored by Mathison Motors

Monticello School District Updates with Sarah Welk,
Magic Closet

The Monticello Schools counseling staff plays a vital role in supporting students, families, and educators throughout the district. They provide a wide range of services, including social, emotional, and behavioral support; individual and group counseling; crisis intervention; and academic planning through programs like 504 Plans, IEPs, and college/career preparation. Counselors and social workers serve as consistent support figures, offering assistance with attendance and truancy, referrals to external services, and coordination with outside agencies. They also collaborate with parents, guardians, and staff through meetings, consultations, and classroom presentations to address student needs. Additionally, the counseling team fosters community partnerships with organizations like United Way, Central MN Mental Health, local businesses, and mental health agencies to enhance student resources.

One unique program they oversee is the "Magic Closet," a district-wide initiative providing basic necessities to students in need. Accessible in all seven buildings and open to all 4,300 district students through staff referrals, the Magic Closet supplies essential items such as school supplies, hygiene products, clothing, winter gear, food, and gift cards. This program relies on community donations to ensure that every student has what they need to thrive in school.

Dec 16    2026 Leadership Monticello

The Monticello Chamber of Commerce & Industry is excited to bring a new leadership development opportunity to our members and local business community this fall called Leadership Monticello.
This program utilizes the proven Mindset Leadership Program created by BetterCulture and is designed for current leaders, new leaders, managers, and supervisors who want to strengthen their leadership skills and create a stronger workplace culture.
Great leadership directly impacts employee engagement, accountability, morale, and performance. Leadership Monticello is built to help participants lead with greater intention, consistency, and confidence while gaining practical tools they can use immediately on the job.
This 8-session program includes 90-minute sessions focused on real-world leadership challenges and opportunities. Participants will learn through the lens of BetterCulture’s 7 Principles of Leadership:

  • Culture – Build and protect a positive workplace culture
  • Pride – Help employees feel valued and proud of their work
  • Growth – Support employee success at work and in life
  • Standards – Maintain high expectations and accountability
  • Decisions – Encourage thoughtful discussion and strong decision-making
  • Conflict – Navigate difficult conversations effectively
  • Fun – Create an environment where people enjoy coming to work

Whether you lead a department, supervise a team, or are stepping into leadership for the first time, this program will help you grow into a more effective and impactful leader.

Dec 17    2026 Rising Stars Monticello

The Monticello Chamber is proud to introduce Rising Stars Monticello, a leadership development program offered in partnership with BetterCulture.

This program is designed for emerging leaders and professionals who are new to leadership, preparing for future leadership roles, or looking to strengthen their skills to grow within their organization. It is ideal for individuals seeking to build confidence, improve their professional effectiveness, and position themselves for the next step in their career.

At the foundation of the program is the 20 Tenets of Culture, developed by BetterCulture, a proven framework for strengthening workplace culture from the inside out.

The course will be co-facilitated by Dr. Katie Williams of Craig Chiropractic and Kinesiology and Gabrielle Lien, Branch Manager at Premier Bank, bringing real-world leadership experience and community insight into each session.

Participants will learn how to:

  • Strengthen workplace culture from within
  • Improve communication and collaboration across teams
  • Build confidence in leadership roles and conversations
  • Increase employee engagement, motivation, and performance
  • Develop high-performing teams that support organizational success
  • Strengthen both professional skills and personal growth through coaching and reflection

Through interactive workshops and meaningful discussion, participants gain practical tools they can immediately apply in the workplace, along with increased self-awareness and a clearer understanding of their strengths and growth opportunities.

This program is built on the belief that strong organizations are built through strong people. When employees are invested in and developed, workplace culture strengthens from the ground up.
